The Brazilian minister for Planning, Development, and Management, Dyogo Oliveira, was present. He explained to the attendees why there was a need to encourage more private investments in infrastructure in Brazil. According to the minister, the government had provided financial guarantee mechanisms to facilitate private investments in Latin America. He outlined the need for the Inter-American Bank to foster studies that aim at impacting the learners with the skills needed to manage the risks involved in infrastructural projects. According to him, the initiative would ensure that the projects are more successful.

The president of the Inter-American Bank, Luis Caputo, concurred with the statements made by Dyogo Oliveira. He revealed that the institution was ready to work with the countries in Latin America to develop their infrastructure. Mr. Garido is Spain’s Secretary of State for Economy and Business Support. He noted that there were massive changes in the regional markets. According to him, Spain considers Brazil as the best place to invest. Dyogo Oliveira urged various states to focus on the fourth industrial revolution.
